After trying on several gowns, I found myself torn between the top of one dress and the skirt of another. Lin assured me that she could combine the two elements to create a completely custom piece tailored to my specifications.

In under three weeks, my custom wedding dress was ready. The fit was flawless, and the dress was everything I had hoped for—a gown I could wear at both my British embassy ceremony and my celebration at the Great Wall of China.
